February 28, 2013 Job to Aunt Sharon
Aunt Patrice,
Sorry about the delay. I got a letter from beautiful Sena and guess I went bat crap crazy once again! But I’m doing better now and hopefully my letters will be a source of some serious smiling for her. Tell her she’s way too pretty not to be happy.
Thank you for the book. I’ve been really enjoying every page. Fawn M. Brodie is one bad biddy. She does one hell of a job taking you back, almost as if it were actual time travel. Also the talks by Brené Brown, real food for thought. Still chewing on it.
I’m so, soooo glad you’re cancer free. (Our prayers have been heard.) Whenever one of my prayers is answered I write it down in my Bible (subject and date). I do that to help remind myself how active the Lord is even in my no count life. Think if people would keep a personal record of how many times He has answered their prayers, it would make a world of difference. How easy it is to forget when there ain’t nothing there to remind you.
I have to tell you something Aunt Sharon, but I don’t want you to think bad of me or allow it to scare you off. I’m a Cancer (July 12th baby). So now you’re never going to be cancer free. But don’t worry. The worst I’ll ever do is pinch your bottom. I love you Aunt Sharon and can’t wait for the day to tell you so.
xoxo Job
I don’t mind if you let Sena read my letters or if she lets you read the ones I send her. I write for your smiles and want nothing more than to have both you girls smiling and giggling over me at the same time.
